Already some big leaks from this mixtape dropped over the weekend, which I dislike posting due to the tags usually but this is that piff. Watch for the unreleased Nas, some hot new Fabolous and of course a slamming Jay-Z remix. Download and bump loud this mixtape goes hard.
All the best local artists (Anglophone & Francophone) are featured on this compilation. There are also a few internationally respected artists such as HUSSEIN FATAL (Member of Tupac’s group, The OUTLAWZ), MASTA ACE (Legendary Hip-Hop Icon) & BOOBA (#1 Rapper in France), who sent us exclusive never-before-heard tracks specially recorded for the “MONTREALITY SHOW”. This CD is hosted by non other than BAD NEWS BROWN.
This is the first CD to bear the MONTREALITY stamp on it. We are certain that it will be classified a REAL CITY CLASSIC. 95% of the tracks on this CD are exclusive never-before-heard songs that aren’t available anywhere else than on the “MONTREALITY SHOW”
Every aspect of the creation of this compilation has been taken seriously to heart, this compilation has been crafted with a perfectionist state of mind. The final selection of 23 unreleased tracks really showcases the power of Montreal City. The art direction is also something that we put a lot of effort into, the ultimate goal was to represent the people. We made sure to give you all the good reasons to crave holding a physical copy of the “MONTREALITY SHOW” in your hands.
Flight Distance is a group out of Ottawa that has just given out some offerings for the fans. One of the members is Montreal’s own Bender, who has been holding down his spot in the King of the Dot battle league with an impressive 6-0 record and is about to face the champion, if I’m not mistaken. Download or stream the song below via their Bandcamp.
I downloaded this mixtape expecting to skip through half of it on my first listen… But I was wrong. Wale’s “More About Nothing” is actually really damn good. Wale had a lot to get off his chest on this one so that would probably explain why it has 21 tracks. With features from Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka Flame & Avery Storm, not to mention bunch of funny Seinfield skits and mixing from DJ Omega this mixtape is a pretty solid follow up to his last Mixtape “The Mixtape About Nothing”.
New mixtape from Duffle Bag Ran with DJ Lust, DJ Diggz & DJ Scream which is a pretty solid combination. Ransom is unfortunately locked up right now so why not release this mixtape to build some hype for his release.
Cookin’ Soul are without a doubt some of the hardest working producers from Europe… Spain to be exact. They have been working with so many different artists recently that I couldn’t even mention. Here is there newest project that they teamed up with DJ Drama for, History in the Making : Gangsta Grillz Edition. Don’t sleep…
If you ask me Game has really fell off recently. I was used to a consistent quality and some heavy street bangers but as of late all he has been dropping is crap like ‘Shake’ and a few other weak attempts on his upcoming The R.E.D. Album. However, this mixtape has some big tracks on it so hopefully the rest of his album will follow suit.
I dunno about y’all but I was always a huge D12 and Proof fan, so when we all learned of his death it was a very sad day for hip hop. Even more sad was the fact that since we have heard very little of the music he made… until now. Written and recorded in 24 hours him and DJ Jewels put together this tape which has been sitting on the bench for the last couple years because of some of the songs lacking clearance since they might make a retail release, but here ya go…
One Shot has been making some noise with some nice freestyle videos shot by my man Justin Agustin, and steady work with Uness and others making quality music. Here is his new offering in the form of a mixtape True Colors that I think you would be surprised. Check it out and support that local.
