Day 12 of the #jointaday campaign. On #FossilFridays, CeasRock showcases music from his early years. Groovin’ is a joint that was salvaged from the old rap dojo days, produced by MurderFace assassin Vincent Pryce (the artist formerly known as Teknition). Along with special footage from the 2006 edition of Under Pressure, we’ve also included a download link for the original song itself. Peace to long tees and short records.

On every Thursday of the #jointaday campaign, CeasRock will share some of his favorite panty-wetters under the hashtag #thirstday. Dream 24 spent seven consecutive weeks at number one on the Real City Countdown and is produced by the head of the Crime In The City syndicate, Uness.

Tenth installment of CeasRock‘s #jointaday campaign. Finally 2K12 sees Uness channel Phil Collins on a Chris Sims-assisted cut that originally appeared on the CIC compilation With All Due Respect.

The kid CeasRock has been steadily recapping the highlights in his body of work for a little over a week now, and we at EscapeMTL are on board for the rest of the way . On this ninth installment of his #jointaday campaign, Ceas drops I’m Real, an IndoRecordz banger that is the team’s rendition of Red Cafe‘s “I’m Ill”. With visuals by ElonSkee, play this one in your headphones with the bass on smash.

We’ve been posting a few rants here and there in couple of past post….Perhaps its time to transform the negative into positive and really think through what we have going in Montreal….We were speaking with Artist, producer, composer MR. UNESS, who we think is one of those key players in the City, many of you are probably not aware of his existence but really this fella has undeniable talent and worth promoting. AS a community builder we need to support our team mates, more so the ones that have key value for the city and for the ones that are simply worth pushing….
many of you go out of your way pushing soundcloud links or videos to our Page, if your asking yourselves why we dont post your content on our blog its because we sincerely think you need to reevaluate what your actually pushing and/or creating…..Without going further in my criticism, you need to build yourself a team of friends that can give their honest opinion about the ART your trying to develop….I mean I cant Draw for shit and i know it…..You will not see me at underpressure fucking doing a graffiti..My mom raps better than me, thus why i wont grab the mic…All things said we cant afford as a local blog to post all the bad music coming out of the city…..IMPOSSIBLE! As we are trying to motivate and build something for those who take there art seriously and who apply themselves….we need to be credible!!
Anyway back to our thoughts, We were having a simple conversation about the city’s sceen and talking sh*t….and it all came down to the fact that we need to work harder and truly embrace what Montreal has to give…..There are only a few of us capable of truly talking about the mtl streets so you need to respect those who can!the ones who delivers those hard lines and who live the daily hustle and who are credible….Hip hop has gone very far since the early 80′s and we need to push those boundaries as music lovers and community builders.
We have a lot more to say on the subject and perhaps we can have somebody that has more talent than myself at writting a post with more substance…..That said i wish you all a great day!

New record from two of Canada’s up and coming artists Raz Fresco & Milli
Millz. This track is called “Chef Boyardee” and will appear on Montreal
Producer Dirtwork’s project called “From Tragedy 2 Triumph” scheduled to
drop in this winter.
At the age of 17, Raz Fresco is a young up and coming artist/producer from
Toronto that has generated a heavy buzz with his “Bakers Club” Brand and
Movement. Raz also produced records for major artists like Tyga, Mac
Miller, French Montana, Big Sean, B.O.B. amongs others.
Milli Millz is an upcoming artist from Montreal with a cult-like following
and fan base that exceeds the city. Known for his energetic performances,
Milli Millz has opened up for some of the biggest artists that performed in
Montreal (Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Kid Ink and many more).
This track is a bridge between both young artists and cities, it also
showcases the versatility of styles they both have on a track together.
“Chef Boyardee” will also appear on Dirtwork’s debut album “From Tragedy 2
Triumph”.
