Not the best game but we almost had it. Seems the 1st goal seems to be the determining factor this series, but we would have been going to overtime if Carey Price didn’t give away that goal with another slip-up. It’s not over until the fat lady sings, or in our case Jacques Martin.
Next game is Thursday night at the Bell Center.

Habs fed the Bruins a beat down last night, scoring the lead goal at 0:43 in the 1st period. Granted the Bruins were without Zdeno Chara due to him being admitted to the hospital the night before. I don’t have much more to say other than the beat down continues, and our chances at round 2 are looking better and better coming home for game 3 & 4.
Price, Cammalleri, Weber, Subban & Plekanec all played a stellar game. Let’s remember my favorite goal of the night…

Had to give a big shouts to Boston Pizza, for doing the right thing with there new playoff marketing… and of course Moe Arora for grabbing the pic. I thought tt was very important for us to score the first goal in this series, especially in Boston. But with Gionta scoring a pair for the 2-0 shutout win, it feels pretty good to see the Bruins fans leaving there seats with 10 minutes left. We needed this win to hurt there feelings… Fxck you Boston.
Last year this time I was pretty angry that our star Carey Price was being a bum, and Halak was the one to carry us thru… but this year the kid is looking at the top of his game. Shouts to Carey Price for holding us down, and acting like a Vezina goalie for once.
