All the best local artists (Anglophone & Francophone) are featured on this compilation. There are also a few internationally respected artists such as HUSSEIN FATAL (Member of Tupac’s group, The OUTLAWZ), MASTA ACE (Legendary Hip-Hop Icon) & BOOBA (#1 Rapper in France), who sent us exclusive never-before-heard tracks specially recorded for the “MONTREALITY SHOW”. This CD is hosted by non other than BAD NEWS BROWN.
This is the first CD to bear the MONTREALITY stamp on it. We are certain that it will be classified a REAL CITY CLASSIC. 95% of the tracks on this CD are exclusive never-before-heard songs that aren’t available anywhere else than on the “MONTREALITY SHOW”
Every aspect of the creation of this compilation has been taken seriously to heart, this compilation has been crafted with a perfectionist state of mind. The final selection of 23 unreleased tracks really showcases the power of Montreal City. The art direction is also something that we put a lot of effort into, the ultimate goal was to represent the people. We made sure to give you all the good reasons to crave holding a physical copy of the “MONTREALITY SHOW” in your hands.
Simba aka Sina stays working hard, bringing you some footage and insight from Outkast’s very own Big Boi. He just dropped a huge album called Sir Lucious Leftfoot : The Son of Chico Dusty that is pretty much pure fire.
Montreality caught up with Jay Sean while he was in town earlier this month to ask him about his album, Russel Peters, Lil Wayne in prison and also his key to success. Damn dude’s accent is thick, blows my mind cause you can never hear it while he is singing.
Montreality caught up with Reflection Eternal, which is Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek for all the slow people. They talk about a bunch of different topics so check for yourself. For those who missed the show when they were in town, too bad for you.
AZ is so bitter towards Nas, wow. To those who missed the show, too bad… AZ did his thing. Just a terrible sight seeing these random wanna-be promoters trying to do shows in Montreal with no idea what the hell they are doing… cause honestly I saw at least 20 of the 50 people there looking like they wanted a refund. Not to mention AZ only got on at 1:30am and did a mediocre 30 minute set, which is disappointing on its own.
Some more footage of Pharoahe Monch when he stopped by Montreal for the first time earlier this month, alongside Slaughterhouse. Shouts to Montreality for the footage.
Montreality caught up with 3/4 of Slaughterhouse this last weekend to ask them about what they think the key to success is, as well as some other hot topics. As you already know these guys are pure jokes, all day… everyday. Big shouts to Crystal, Pharoahe Monch, Guy and Showtime, DJ Dames Nellas and Peter Jackson and of course Slaughter for tearing it down in Montreal, and the rest of Canada on this tour.
For all those who are sleeping on this supergroup, wake up and get in line. These guys are the truth and the next album is going to be a serious problem.
Montreality got with Royce da 59 the other night at the Slaughterhouse show, and some ill footage of an acappella from him… as well as a tribue to the late proof who died yesterday 4 years ago. Expect another one coming soon with the 3/4 of Slaughterhouse, shouts to Sina who is putting in work for the city.
Imposs from the legendary group Muzion, speaks with Montreality about what he thinks the key to success is and many other hot topics. Shouts to the homie Sina.
