Shyne & Def Jam has a conference call yesterday where just about anyone in the industry could have called in to speak to the man; except when Curtis called they caught wind pretty quick and flushed him. I still have no clue why Shyne would go at 50 with the current lack of sound and talent that he is having, not to mention he’s not even allowed back in the USA so it’s an obvious attempt at some free marketing. Hilarious none the less.

L.A. Reid took the jet down to Belize to meet up with Shyne, to finalize his signing to his new label home at Def Jam. Seriously thou after hearing that DJ Khaled leak of Shyne, I’m not even sure if his voice has what it takes anymore… not to mention the fact he has Fonzworth Bentley dressing him.
I hope Shyne can prevail and still make good music, but in reality all I want to hear is the gutter Shyne Po from back in the “More of Less” or “Bad Boyz” age. I am still mad at Puffy for ruining homies career, real talk.

So this is a big surprise, and not a good one at that. What the hell happened to Shyne Po’s voice? He seriously sounds like crap now, which is terrible considering he still has the sick lyrics there that he always had. I mean a track with Shyne, Mavado and Akon… should be a recipe for success, especially with this being the first appearance back since getting out of jail a couple months back.

Shyne continues to make good by spreading the word that violence is not the key. In Belize he recently spoke to the inmates about the shooting that landed him inside as well as his time inside, and more. I hope they let this guy back in the states soon because he has obviously served his time. Sad part is I am pretty sure we will not be hearing anymore good music from him… but we do need more teachers than rappers these days.
